We finally did Melissa’s family birthday party, with the kids sick and Elaine doing chemo we had to put it off til they where feeling better and Steve was off work. Mark, Rhonda & their kids where in Hawaii enjoying their spring break so they weren’t there. But it was fun anyway! Just a couple photos!

The other day it was so nice I wanted to get out of the house and go for a drive, the kids and I decided to go to the Big Game Wildlife Park. They have moose and bears, among other things. We had loads of fun walking around and taking lots of photos.

This little guy was soo funny! When we first walked by he started following us, then later when these people where trying to take some pics and wanted him to move over I pushed the stroller further ahead and he followed again! Melissa thought this was super funny so she starts pushing the stroller forwards really fast then back again, poor bear got his exercise that day! It wasn’t until later that someone said they probably get their food brought on carts that have big wheels like the stroller. Yikes! I think we where making him think it was dinner time!

and of course the moose!! Gotta have lots and lots of pics of the moose! Melissa even puckered up to give it a kiss!

Sitka Black tailed Deer! It’s so different seeing these guys here instead of in the wild, we used to see them all the time when we lived in Wrangell!

Grizzly Bears! Two are 4 years old and 1 is 8 years. I think we saw the 8 year old one when she was a baby. They where not liking us walking along the fence, but I was busy snapping pics and never noticed it snarling at the kids til I got home and was looking at the pictures!

All in all we had a great time, and took over 200 photos! LOL! Poor Steve just shrugs his shoulders, he doesn’t understand why I take so many!

Melissa wanted to go to a hockey game for her birthday, so we went to an Aces game!! They just happened to be playing on her birthday  of course as soon as we got to the game the girls (Lissa & two of her friends) took off and ditched us for the whole game. Here’s some pics that I took

This was Ethan’s favorite part of the game! Every time they came out he would point and yell TRUCK MOMMY!!!!!

Melissa said this guy was yummy, and he could be her man! LOL!! NOT!! (sorry baby isn’t gonna happen)

We hung out at the mall for part of the day, did plenty of shopping and the girls did plenty of giggling and talking on their cell phones, gee I wonder why I don’t want to get Melissa one!

I can’t believe my little girl is 14!! It just doesn’t seem right somehow! She could get her permit, to DRIVE!!!!! Just not right I tell ya!!

I got my new lens!!!!! OMGOSH I finally did it!!! (of course after I got home with it I felt half sick to my stomach that I’d actually gotten it!) I’ve only gotten to play with it a little bit, but I already LOVE it!!! It does an awesome job!!

I made Keith sit on the front porch and let me take some pics of him. I don’t get many pics of him cause he runs as soon as the camera comes out.  This time I got smart and bribed him! :P  LOL!  NO going to your friends house til you sit and let me take some pictures! It worked though!

Anyway tomorrow is Melissa’s 14th birthday (actually she will officially turn 14 in  2 hours and 17 mins, she was born @ 12:44) So I will chase her around all day tomorrow and take pics!!!

Sooo I was bored today, sitting in the parking lot at the hospital waiting for hubby to get done with his blood work and xrays. So I sat there taking pictures of the dog, at least he will sit and let me take pictures, even if I have to lock him in the car to get him to do it. Kids do not cooperate these days, they see the camera and start running the other direction. Even he got tired of it and started giving me the begging look, Just knock it off already!!

OOOOH and I keep getting these little dot smudges all over my windshield, took me awhile to figure out what it was,Yep it’s Mr Nosy himself Every time his nose touches the glass, I get another smudge, not so bad until I have to sit over there and try to see through all the spots, drives me crazy!!

Isn’t he just too cute, he thinks the dogs bed is his own, and when he falls asleep on the couch the dog always snuggles with him. I missed the good shot where the dog had his leg thrown over Ethan and his head next to Ethan’s.

I was bad again today, happened to stop by Vera’s store, and had to pick up this yummy kit
and……………since I was already being bad I decided that I would stop and grab Birgit Kerr’s new kit too.

OK these designers are KILLING my paypal!! (Of course you know if I had any self control what so ever I wouldn’t have this problem) Instead we will just blame them for putting out oh so awesome goodies that I can’t resist!

I started my shopping out this morning with a bunch of overlays from Nancy Rowe Janitz,

then it was Bren Boones new store, I don’t find boy kits very often so I had to pick this one up, then I couldn’t pass up the gorgeous Peaceful papers

Then Patty and I where talking this morning and she just HAD to show me this little sneak peek of a new funky junky kit coming to LP, and a bit ago I happened to see that it was up, this is where that lack of self control comes in, I just HAD to buy it, a little pricier than I like to spend but hey it has tons of awesome looking papers and elements. I’m downloading it now, 6 downloads!

I can’t wait to get it all unzipped and explore!! I’ll send you previews Patty & Becky!!! So that you can drool and have no self control too

and the new We are Story Tellers site hasn’t even opened yet!! YIKES!! Who knows what yummy stuff I will find and have to buy there LOL!

Nothing much going on around here, we are all fighting colds and have been for 3 weeks now. First Melissa then Ethan and I, then Steve, Emily and Keith. Now we seem to be starting over cause Melissa is sick again
